Teapots

Sparta now has a Teapot Museum....
and isn't it quite sad that this website might be the finest website ever involving sparta? Honestly, the teapot museum is a joke among us real sparta residents (61,000 annually? thats more than 6 times the population of allegany county!!!) but more importantly, it is a wonderful exibition of the pork that courses through the veins of modern american politics. We don't really want the museum, but we'd love 400,ooo US dollars spent on our county, regardless of what really happens with the money. Sadly, it won't bring the visitors, and it won't revitalize the downtown, that will be quite a more difficult task to undertake than building a ridiculous Teapot museum. But the encouranging thing is that we are actually trying, because without some effort, Sparta could quickly become a ghost town; views and cheap land only take a county so far.
